Let's get started with the basics!
We'll ease in with some yoga philosophy, we're talking about the 8 limbs of yoga.
Learn about the all important Bandhas (energy locks that help support our physical practice)
We'll explore some pranayama (breath work), this week we'll dive into Ujjayi breath
Learn the asana (poses) and sequence of this week's flow Surya Namaskar A or Sun Salutation A

Please bring your yoga mat, towel and water bottle to every class.
We also highly recommend the use of props. You may like to use 2 yoga blocks and a yoga strap.
A small number of mats are available at the studio if you do not have one. Please make sure that you clean studio mats before leaving.
It is recommended that you do not eat for one to two hours before your class. Practising yoga on a full stomach can lead to abdominal discomfort and nausea which can take away from your practice.
